Khawa prepared with green tea leaves.
Ingredients
Water 6 cups
Cinnamon bark 3 inch piece, I have used a few
Cardamom 5
Clove 3(optional)
Sugar if you prefer 3 tsp, I prefer no sugar in green tea
Almonds 4 to 5 grated, thinly sliced.
Saffron strands a pinch
Green tea two tsp
Process
Crush cardamom, clove, mix with green tea, add water and boil, add Saffron, sugar and boil further. Once done, strain into cups, garnish with grated /sliced almonds. Its refreshing and flavourful.
Cinnamon bark and leaves were dried in shadow. I got them from a friends farm a few days ago.
