Egg masala




Recipe for egg masala 

5 Eggs
1 cup water 
2 large tomatoes sliced
1 big onion sliced
Garlic pods, crushed with the skin
2 green chilies halved 
1 inch ginger thinly sliced
1 tsp kashmiri chili powder 
1 tsp coriander powder 
1/2 tsp jeera powder 
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp turmeric powder 
I cup water
Ghee/ oil
1/2 tsp jeera 
Salt

Method 

In the cooker pour ghee, add jeera, let it splutter, add Garlic, green chilies, onion and tomatoes. Saute for 2 minutes, add turmeric powder, salt, red chili powder, garam masala, jeera powder and mix well, pour water. 

In a separate vessel inside the cooker keep the eggs, add a cup of water.

Pressure cook for two whistles. Remove, peel the egg shells, the gravy will be mushy and cooked, add the boiled eggs, garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Serve.
